Interestingly, men aren’t just buying for themselves but are buying up large on vulva toys, suggesting that they are buying toys for their female partners.
“In addition to toys designed for male stimulation, men are purchasing an overwhelming number of toys traditionally marketed towards women, indicating that sex toys – and the pleasure they evoke – are becoming a shared priority in relationships. In fact, 47 per cent of sex toys purchased by men are designed to increase female pleasure.
Comparatively, in other countries such as New Zealand, sex toy usage is dominated by women by 35 per cent, with ladies also outspending men by 13 per cent.”
