Only 1.47" at its largest diameter, this plug is a good intermediate toy - larger than a beginner piece, but easy to hold & a gentle stretch. The Ryder has a gradual curve from the body to the neck of the plug, which means it won't shock the sphincter muscles going in or coming out.
The anchor base helps the Ryder stay put comfortably.

Important to know!!: The toy you will get (or at least what they sent me) is the new version of the Tantus Ryder, which has an anchor shaped base and not a flat standing one like the picture.
This is a well designed toy by a good quality, well known brand with a long history, so I'm extra confident about the quality/safety of the material. The tip has a good taper, without being too pointy (too pointy is uncomfy once it's inside, even if it's easier to get in...) The main benefit this has over cheaper toys is that it's just a really well designed shape that won't give any surprises, especially if the size is large for you (the taper between the handle and body is as gentle as the taper on the way in, so it's as easy to get out as it is to get in.)
