I was looking for a first flogger and this one caught my eye due to the price and material. The real leather is fantastic - the flogger feels sturdy and like it'll last unlike some faux ones on the market. The impact it gives has some weight to it (depending on how hard the strikes are as well) but it's more of a sting feel than just impact. Probably the only drawback would be the handle - it's quite small and thin, whereas I'd appreciate something that can be properly gripped.
Sidenote: I live in a damp flat, and this has NOT got moldy which is a definite plus!
