Good enough for a hemp nylon mix.
This rope leans more towards the texture of nylon than hemp, which is unfortunate for anyone expecting a rougher and more coarse hemp nylon rope, but it still works well at holding friction ties without stretching too much.
Hemp or coconut ropes are often sought after for their ability to hold tight and strong knots. If you're looking for a tough hemp rope, this is not it. This rope is soft, with plastic tips. It ties well and doesn't fail to remain tight. It can slip a little bit, but that's expected with such soft rope.
Overall a decent enough good beginner rope.
I keep buying more and more of this rope, I may have 40-50 meters of it by now 😅. Its a nice soft rope but, with the right tensions it can be tight and solid. It looks awesome and feels really good. I'd say this is a good product for every confidence level people practise rope with.
The drawbacks of this product are that it dosent last super duper long, now I absolutely thrashed my rope with use but there ends do fray a little bit and require some acorn knots to keep them together.
Overall, 8-9/10 I recommend it, as I said, I can't help myself buying more
Looks good, very pleased.
The ends are wrapped in plastic so you need to tie a stopper knot. It is softer than hemp so more comfort, but maybe less sturdy, but hasnt broken for me yet. Approx 8mm. It doesnt have the rough fibers. Better at nylon at holding knots
