Definitely copes well in th shower, the neoprene of the front piece dries quickly but the straps take a bit longer. It doesn't specify that it's designed with pegging in mind but that is how we used it and it worked well. The harness itself is fairly adjustable and fits my smaller waist - although the leg straps have less room to move.
