Anyway you look at it.
This is more a show piece without any form of rear binding or strap, as it can simply sit in the mouth and can be spat out.
A few simple clips or rings strategically placed, along with a binding strap or elasticised band, can make this a very effective tool...
Or simple remain a sinister show piece
