The numbing action spoils the fun a little for me, but then I've been reamed many of times and actually enjoy a bit of pain. I'm guessing this item may be more for relatively newbies to anal play, male or female recipients, to ease the intensity of sensations created initially by anal play.
The texture of the lube is fine, lasts well, so can't complain really.
